Hiring Beach Attendants

Season: Memorial Day through Labor Day

Hours: Full and part-time schedules available for North and South Beaches

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Daily Check-in of RTO members and guests to ensure only registered entrants

  • Morning preparation of the beach and adjacent areas, including raking and debris removal

  • Beach and pier oversight throughout the day to help enforce safety rules, including securing RTO dinghies

  • Identify and help to resolve problems regarding beach activity by raising concerns to the appropriate Board Member for resolution

Ideal candidates are friendly, outgoing, assertive, well organized, dependable and reliable. Capable of being assertive in helping to reinforce rules with adults and children and taking initiative to help solve issues as needed.

Comfort with watercraft a plus. Physical work required. No lifeguard certificate needed.
