Beach Access & Rules
The RTO Community prides itself on being a safe, family-friendly community. The Beach Rules are in place to ensure that RTO Members, their guests, and Cabin Renters enjoy a relaxing and safe experience on our beautiful beaches. We appreciate you abiding by these important rules.
If you are an RTO Member that rents out your cabin, ensure your Cabin Renters are well aware of these important rules.
Beach Access for RTO Members
Beach access is exclusively available to RTO Homeowners who are current on their annual assessments and to their Cabin Renters, guests, or family members staying at the home. To be eligible for beach access, individuals must belong to the RTO Association and adhere to the requirement of staying at the home or being accompanied by a family member. RTO Members with outstanding annual assessments will not be considered registered for beach access.
Beach Locations
There are two beaches available to RTO Members. North Beach, located at 8695 Beach Lane, and South Beach, located at 8819 Rubicon Drive. Each beach has a pier, roped-off swim area and a swim float. The South beach has a sand volleyball court.
Beach Attendants
Beach Attendants are on duty at each beach to help ensure only RTO Members and their Cabin Renters are entering the beach. Beach Attendants help to ensure beach-goers understand the safety rules and help to keep the beaches clean. They are NOT trained as lifeguards.
Beach Check-In
Everyone visiting the beach is required to register with the Beach Attendant on duty and provide the RTO Member’s property address, RTO Membership # (the three digit lot number accessible through HOA Accounting), and the total number in the party coming to the beach.
Homeowners: be sure to provide to your renters your name and your RTO membership #.
Cabin Renters: be sure to obtain the RTO Membership # from the Rental Company (if applicable) or Homeowner prior to heading to the beach.
Kayak & SUP Storage
Kayaks, Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUPs) and inflatables may be left overnight on beaches ONLY in rented storage slots.
Watercraft must be removed from the beach daily if not stored in a rented storage slot.
